Step 1: Divinding Salts
Divide epsom salt into small bowls for how ever many colors you plan to use (two colors, two bowls; three colors, three bowls).
Step 2: Add Your Coloring
Add one or two drops of desired soap coloring into each bowl and stir with small spoon right away to spread color. Put the salts aside while they absorb the dyes.
Step 3: Step 2: Dry Ingredients
Combine the baking soda, corn starch, and citric acid into the mixing bowl.
Step 4: Add Oils to Dry Mix
Whisk the mix together with spoon or spatula and add essential oils while stirring (3-5 drops of each depending on strength of smell desired).
Step 5: Add Coconut Oil
Add room temperature coconut oil to the dry mixture and evenly mix all the ingredients and work out any clumps that are formed.
Step 6: Witch Hazel
Pour witch hazel into small spray bottle.
Step 7: Forming the Ingredients
Gather mix and squeeze in hands. While doing this spray a generous amount of witch hazel on mix until it clumps together. Mix between each spray. This may take a little while for desired structure and texture.
Step 8: Add Epsom Salt
Add colored salts to the mixing bowl and stir together until evenly through out. Put some of the salts at the bottom of your mold for a more decorative look.
Step 9: Molds
Press mixture firmly into mold making sure all space is filled. Let the bathbomb sit for a few hours so it can form together.
Step 10: Final Step!
After a couple of hours have passed it is time to take the bathbombs out of their mold. Be very careful and gentle taking out the bathbombs, it can be easy to crumble if rushing or using too much force.
Step 11: Enjoy!
Fill your tub with warm water and drop the bomb in while the water is filling up. Enjoy your relaxing stress relief bathbomb!
