Play Movies With Arabic or Other Language Subtitles on SONY 40EX430 TV

Hello every body ... i have faced a problem to play movies with subtitles on my tv ... i figured the solutions yesterday

  1. first download a movie from any web site
  2. download the subtitle and put the movie and subtitle together in the same folder with the same namenow
  3. from the USB port on the tv attach the flash memory and check if the tv reads the movie
  4. down the blue button i found the info button (+i)
  5. while the movie plays press the button to enable reading the attached subtitle
  6. if the language is ok ... enjoy
  7. if not and the language is squares or strange figures .. remove the USB flash memory and attached to your pc
  8. download notpad++ program
  9. open the subtitle file
  10. from the tabs above choose encoding
  11. choose you language and coding (for me: encoding > charachter sets > arabic > windows-1256) ... you should now see your language
  12. from encoding choose convert to UTF-8 and save
  13. repeat point 3 to 6
  14. if not and the language is still squares or strange figures .. repeat 9 to 11
  15. from encoding choose convert to UTF-8-BOM and save
  16. repeat point 3 to 6
  17. if not and the language is still squares or strange figures .. repeat 9 to 11
  18. from encoding try the rest of codings and saverepeat point 3 to 6

Step 1: Screen Shots

    Hello there!

We're glad you want to share something with the Instructables community!

And we’re here to help you out.

Due to some recent changes on the site, we are no longer able to publish stand-alone videos and other forms of incomplete posts. In order to be published live on the site, Instructables must consist of the following things:

    - Multiple steps showing how you made your project

    - Written instructions in each step

    - Your own original images

Beyond making your Instructable simply publishable, this guide (https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Create-a-Feature-Worthy-Instructable/) explains what is required to have your Instructables featured by our site editors. It’s very helpful, and definitely worth checking out.

We would love to review your project again after you have made the necessary edits, and we will publish your project if it is eligible.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask right here or send us an email at service@instructables.com.
