Step 1: Step 1: Dipping

Melt milk or dark chocolate chips or melting chocolate. Add about half a tablespoon shortening to the melted chocolate. Dip strawberries in the hot chocolate and set them on a tray lined with wax paper. Let sit in a cool place such as a fridge or freezer. I set mine outside on the snow which worked fine.

Step 2: Step 2: White Chocolate Time

Melt white chocolate or white vanilla chocolate and let it cool for a minute or two before transferring it to a piping bag. Let this cool first or you can burn yourself (lesson learned)

Step 3: Step 3: Lines

Hold your piping bag filled with melted white chocolate and decorate the chocolate covered strawberries as illustrated.

Step 4: Serve!

After letting the chocolate harden (let chill more depending on consistency) you can serve your marvelous football strawberries! These treats will definitely be a touchdown at your party or tailgate!! If you try this recipe, please take upload a picture of your creation to the comments below, I would love to see and hear your feedback! :)
