Super-Food Super Smoothie

Introduction: Super-Food Super Smoothie

If the Justice League were made up of smoothies, they would totally recruit this guy!

This recipe is made up almost entirely of  "super-foods" so they are clearly the best dietary choice if you have any crime fighting scheduled that day.  Actually, given the general unpredictable nature of evil and the deliciousness of smoothies, you might want to be prepared every day.

1 cup blueberries, frozen
6 ounces coconut yogurt
1 1/2 cups brewed green tea, chilled
2 bananas
5 strawberries, frozen
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 Tbs flax seeds, ground
3 Tbs agave
1 piece fresh ginger, about 1/2" cube
Ice cubes
Makes 5 Servings

Just toss the ingredients in a blender, add a few ice cubes at the end to reach desired consistency. (Cape is optional)

Love love love the nutrition information at the end! That was a, dare I say, super idea. More of the food projects should include nutrition facts. They were conspicuously absent from the bacon extravaganza.

Thanks! Although I haven't included this break down in most of mine to date either, but smoothies at least suggest that one might me in a health conscious place at the time.

And I'm pretty sure that once you decide to have bacon mac and cheese, or bacon-wrapped anything, no nutritional info is going to stop you : )

Quick tip: There are a ton of sites that do calorie counting and some do full nutritional tracking, so you can just sign up for one and enter your ingredients as a meal. Instant nutritional analysis!
