This Bright Pink Cranberry Sauce is so simple that YOU CAN make it in 10 minutes and serve it for
Thanksgiving or Xmas Turkey.
Cranberries and apples are so full of pectin that this begins to jell immediately as it cools.
It's way better than the canned product. It's fresh, has no chemicals or preservatives and this one is Gourmet because it has sweet Orange Zest, Apple, Savory Rosemary & Onion.
You can be inventive and add any flavours that pair well with Turkey, Pork Chops or Grilled Chicken.
Step 1: Base
1 tbsp. EVOO
1 small onion, peeled, chopped
Cook onion in oil on med. heat until softened.
Step 2: Main Ingredients
1 bag of washed fresh or frozen cranberries
2 Mac, Ida Red or any cooking apples, peel on, cored, diced
1 tbsp. fresh or dried rosemary
1 orange zested
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Add the above ingredients! Bring to a boil on med. high heat. (#7 or 8)
From that point cook for 10 min longer.
Place into a sealable jar.
Allow to cool, place in refrigerator.
Can be stored for 1 month.
