Switch on Your Computer by RFID and IR (UPDATED)

Hello guys !!!

In this instructable we are going to switch ON and shutdown the PC using an IR Proximity sensor or a RFID Reader. Due to my studies, I am unable to write this instructable detaily and I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK THE DOUBTS IN COMMENTS AND DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR ME.

Step 1: Step 1: Parts Needed

Arduino (any version) x 1

IR Proximity Sensor x 1

RFID Reader x 1

Transistor C1815 x 1

Relay x 1

Bread Board and some wires

Step 2: Step 2: Switching Using IR

If we place our hand or any other obstacle before the sensor the computer will be automatically switch on.

Wiring connection are shown in the picture and Arduino code is given here.

Step 3: Step 3: Switching by RFID

Due to my budget problem I am unable to buy a RFID reader but I will tell you how to do that,

Simply, Connect RFID reader's Tx to Rx of Arduino instead of IR Sensor and upload the Arduino code given here.

Step 4: Step 4: Enjoy

Now you can switch on/Shutdown your computer without pressing Power button by showing your hand before IR Sensor or showing your RFID Tag near RFID Reader. :)

    Hello sir

    I am munesh i saw your video this is really good. sir i am also reading about Arduino uno with android tablet. now i want to some information regarding this task.

    1:Android device switch on from shut down mode.

    2: android device Activate from Sleep mode

    and i want to use IR Proximity sensor for Both purpose.
