About: Aspiring 13 year old Photographer, Android Developer and Enthusiast

I saw the T-Shirt Transformations contest... so I decided to make an entry!

This is my first instructable... so expect a few loose ends from me...

Ever had too old to be used T-Shirts lying around in your closet? Turn them into stylish cloth bags in less than 10 minutes...(making an instructable takes more time than this!)

You will need:-

1. An old T-Shirt

2. Scissors

3. Hands!

EDIT:- Please do comment and let me know what you think about this Instructable... This will encourage me to create more Instructables!

Supplies:

Step 1: Starting...

Turn your T-Shirts inside-out... Then cut strips of about 5 cm length on the bottom of the T-Shirt... This will help seal the bottom of the bag later.

Also cut out the sleeves like this...

Tie two strips together so it looks something like this...

Repeat for all strips...

Step 2: Work

Now tie two adjacent knots like this...

Repeat to make it look like this...

Step 3: Finishing!

Once you are done tying the knots, Turn the bag outside-in... You are ready to use your bag!!!

MISTAKES I MADE:

1. I forgot to make the markings on my T-Shirt before cutting it...

We did an instructables on this same kind of bag in November. Ours has a sewn bottom rather than a tied bottom. Check it out: https://www.instructables.com/id/T-shirt-Gift-Bag/ It's interesting to see different ideas of the same basic project. Good job ladies.

I did something like this in a craft class. I never used that bag because the little tied knots were at the bottom and on the outside and I didn't like the look of it. But when you turn it wrong side out like you do and it's on the inside it looks so much neater. Good job.
