Introduction: TIE INTERCEPTOR

My first 3D model, I did by my own, the program I used is creo parametric 3.0 student version, the thing is called TIE interceptor from Star Wars, I don´t own any credit, I just want to share my models.

Step 1: Slicing the Model

I made available the stl files for both the Tie and the Tie stand. The slicer of my preference is Cura which is open source and quite easy to use.

The parameters I used for the Tie where the following:

Layer Height: .1mm

Infill 20%

Print Speed 40 mm/s

The parameters I used for the stand where the following:
Layer Height: .2mm

Infill 20%

Print Speed 40 mm/s

Step 2: Printing the Part

Choose the material of your preference, in this case I would suggest PLA since it is a very easy material to print with and the model would be for demonstration purpose only not an actual part of an assembly nor it would be having to support any significant forces.

The printing temperature for PLA is between 200-215 degrees Celsius.

Have fun printing !
