Step 1: Building the Frame

We then started to cutting all the pieces we needed we started off with the legs which were 3 ft. then we started cutting the 2x6 and cut two 3 ft pieces and two 5 foot pieces. The we screwed together the pieces we had to make the basic frame. We also decided to add wheels to make it mobile and add and extra 6 inches to the table.

Step 2: The Table Top

The we cut the piece of 1/2 inch plywood to fit the size of are table which was 5 ft by 3 ft the we had to cut out a 26 in by 24 in hole on the end for the table saw and cut notches for the metal sled to slide out.

Step 3: Supports

We Then added a few support beams to strength it which were 2x4 to make it stronger so it wouldn't wobble. The we added little strips on each corner to make it shake less when you cut wood.

Step 4: Fitting the Table Saw

After we added supports we started making the adjustments for the table saw to fit better. First we made a big enough for the saw to fit in which was about a 2 ft by 2 ft hole. Then we added 3, 3 ft 2x6 and 1, 3 ft 2x4 to make a base for the saw to stand on. Then we added 4, 6 inch 4x4 to hold the table saw at the perfect height with the piece of plywood so we don't get any weird cuts when running a board across it. Before we finally set it in permanently we decided to sand it how to clean it up a bit to make it look a little better.

Step 5: Final Product

This is what it looked like when were finished with it this took about 3 weeks in class to build.
