Create a pendant with a meaningful tarot card for yourself or as a gift. The front of the pendant shows silk peeking through lacework metal while the back has the tarot message. We’ve suspended it from a bundled leather-and-bead necklace with an adjustable closure. The pendant is attached to the bundled leather with grouped jump rings for a more substantial look and to provide sufficient support for the pendant.

To make pendant:
- 1 black patina Memory Frame, 1 ½ x 1 ½ inch
- 1 antique brass 16-Daisy plate, 1 ½ x 1 ½ inch
-1 Memory Glass, 1 ½ x 1 ½ inch
- Sea Gala dupioni silk ribbon, cut into 1 ½ x 1 ½ inch square
- 1 tiny tarot card
- double-sided tape or glue stick

Necklace:
- 72 inches orange leather cord, 1.5 mm, cut into 12 6-inch sections
-2 antique silver machine caps
-3 antique brass jump rings, 14 mm
- 10 inches of Really Round Cable Chain, cut into two 5-inch sections
- 1 imitation rhodium spring ring clasp, 9 mm
- 2 inches antique silver Medium Knurled Oval Chain
- 120 (approx. 5g) Toho Treasures beads
- 527 glue
- 2 rubber bands

Tools:
- bone folder or paper creaser
- chain nose pliers

Step 1: Prepare Contents of Pendant

Place a small amount of glue or a piece of double-sided tape on the back of the tarot card. Position the card in the center of the ribbon square. Stack the daisy plate, the ribbon square and the glass slide so that the tarot card shows through the glass.

Step 2: Fill and Close Memory Frame

Gently open the Memory Frame and slide the stack of glass, ribbon and filigree into the space. Check to see that the positioning is correct. Close Memory Frame by sliding the tab through the hole provided and bending upward to close securely. Burnish the tab with a bone folder to smooth it down.

Step 3: Gather Leath Cords

Using a rubber band placed at one end, bundle together the leather sections tightly. Place 9 Toho beads on one strand of leather. Repeat until all strands of leather have 10 beads. Tightly bundle the other end of the leather strands with the remaining rubber band.

Step 4: Glue on Machine Cap

Check to see that all leather strands are even at the ends. Place a small dot of glue on the end of the bundled leather and fit a machine cap over the ends. Press down firmly and wipe any glue that emerges around the edge. Repeat with remaining cap on other end of leather bundle. Allow glue to dry for 24 hours before proceeding.

Step 5: Add Chain

With your chain nose pliers open the link on the end of one section of the cable chain. Thread the link through the loop on one of the machine caps and close securely. Repeat with other machine cap and remaining cable chain section. Open the links on the other ends of the cable chain to attach the spring clasp and knurled chain section.

Step 6: Add Memory Frame Pendant to Necklace

Using your chain nose pliers open one of the 14 mm jump rings. Thread it through the loop on the pendant and around the bundled leather. Close securely and repeat with remaining jump rings.
