Introduction: UPDATED to 3 Step Planter

Hello everybody, in this instructable I will show you how to make a planting machine that facilitate the process of planting and produces a wonderful planter and in less time using @TINKERCAD( https://www.tinkercad.com/#/)that make planning for 3D printing an easy thing.

In fact, planting has been an important discovery for humans as a source of nutrition. It also takes a basic position in our lives in many fields, just as in industrial, agricultural and environment fields, beside it provide the life giving oxygen without which our survival on this planet is simply impossible. Planting is an essential part of the environment that the survival of human beings and other species of animals depends on.

Step 1: Tinkercad and the Files

Tinkercad is one of the best website to create an 3D design that I really prefer to use, besides of instructables!!

The above files are the specific files for printing this project using 3D printer.

NOTES:

  • print each part separatly.
  • assemble each part with the other using the specific junction holes after the process of printing.

Step 2: Needed Planters (optional)

  • The needed planter is of size: hieght:5cm diameter: 6cm(upper circle) and 4cm(lower circle) (you can buy it from any planter shop).
  • or if doesn't want to buy one you can simply print the file of the planter that I provide in the pervious step which is better.

Step 3: How It Work?

Process of the 3-step planter:

First Step:

  • First you put the planter(pot) in it's appropriate place that is attached to the handle.
  • Collect a certain amount of soil (depends on the size of the planter) and drop them in the upper funnel for the soil on the top of the project.
  • Move using the handle the planter down to the next step.

Second Step:

  • Drop water in the water tube( that is connected directly to the planter).
  • Then add any kind of seed you want to plant in the planter.
  • Pull and Move the handle down.

Third Step:

  • Add fertilizers to the plant through the right tube for it.
  • Finally add water in the last through the other tube.

At The End:

Ready planter !!

Step 7: Purpose

The main purpose of this machine is to make planting a fun and easy thing to do, by producing a beautiful planter that is 3D printed.
