The BEST Way to Join Paracord

This is a tutorial on how to bond two pieces of paracord together. This is the main method I use to make multicolor bracelets.

Step 1: Tools Needed

You will need a lighter, something to smash the paracord with (I use pliers), cutters, and obviously, the paracord.

Step 2: Preparing the Cord

First, you need to pull out the inner cords of one piece of the cord.

Step 3: Cutting

Then you cut your inner cords that you pulled out.

Step 4: Preparing the Cord for the Bond

Then you use your fingers and run them up the cord then you stick your pliers down into the cord to spread it out. next, you burn the frayed parts of the cord and while its still hot, stick your pliers down there again so it spreads it out again.

Step 5: Burning the Other Cord

Then you burn the other cord and when its still hot you stick it into the one you just worked on and crush it with your pliers so the join stays.

Step 6: Completion

Here is your completed bond.
