The Impossible Triangle

Want to draw a super cool illusion to trip out your friends?!?! Well now you can, with the help of this fantastic tutorial!!!!! This Instructables will teach YOU how to draw the classic penrose triangle. Scroll down to begin your schooling.

Step 1: Gather Materials

All you need for this project is a piece of paper and a pen or pencil.

Step 2: Outline

Draw the basic outline for the triangle. Make sure that the corners are flat.

Step 3: Edges

Make a line coming off of each corner. The lines should be a little less than half of the length of the lines on the outline.

Step 4: Corners

Add corners to add a 3D effect.

Step 5: Edges

Add lines off of these corners.

Step 6: Outline to Second Triangle

Draw lines towards the inside to begin the outline of a second triangle.

Step 7: Edges

Connect the edges drawn in the previous step to add a 3D effect.

Step 8: Finishing Touches

Add lines in the middle to complete the illusion
