In this instructable I will show you how to make The Multi Wooden Piece which has several uses in the decorative field and other fields. Woodworking is one of the most things that I love to create and work in as a hobby. Woodworking is a big world to choose what your gonna work on, so I decided to create a unique piece of wood (hand maded "a lot of hard work") that anyone can use it in different ways and forms, like a vase, a wooden egg......, up to 13 different uses as shown below.

Step 1: Tools and Materials

In this instructable you will need:

hand sander
scissor
cutter
wood
drill
hole saw drill bits
white glue
paper sander

Step 2: Drill

Drill three wooden circles using 2" or 2.5" hole saw drill bit.

Drill two wooden circles using 1" hole saw drill bit.

In this part I was going to drill all the 5 circles of the same size but then I realize that the upper one's will be sanded so I drill 2 circles smaller than the other's.

Step 3: Ready Wooden Circles

In this project no matter what kind of wood you prefer to use, but as good as you choose the kind of wood your project will be more attractive. Here's I use Oak which is one of the most popular woods utilized in furniture and craft making. There are many varieties of oak, but most have very similar qualities for woodworking. While oak has a very distinct, sought-after appearance which will be more decorative, it can be a difficult wood to work with especially while drilling and sanding. However, handmade makes always is been difficult while building a crafty wood but on the other hand it always get great results.

Step 4: Glue Them Up

This part is pretty easy, but be carefull while glueing to combine the wooden circles in a way to be centered on the same axis, here you will use a strong white glue and put an enough amount on each side of the wood parts, then press them togther to prevent the apearnce of air holes between each circle that will affect on the view after sanding, keep them tight for 6 to 8 hours.

Step 5: Sanding Tools

Sanding nowdays has been developed using like electric sandee but here in my project I used only sand paper to be hand maded and I also created a small sander tool to put in the drill just for the hard parts in the project as shown in the video above.

Step 6: Sanding

This part is the hardest one above all the steps since you will keep sanding and sanding and.....

So first after glueing it, start to sand it with rough grit sandpaper, then move toward fine grit sandpaper. Beside be carefull while sanding to preserve the shape of the wood.

Step 7: The Upper Hole

This step is optional, if you wanna keep it as it is it's not nessaccery to apply it, but here I prefered to make a hole using 3/4" hole bit to be able to add some other parts to decorate it.

Step 8: Sand After the Hole

After drilling a hole in the upper part of the wooden piece use a sand paper to smooth it from above.

Step 9: Ready to Polish

Keep sanding until you get the perfect surface for polishing.

Step 10: Polishing

After sanding, use a piece of fabric to polish the wooden peice until it gets that bright attractive view.

Step 11: Vase

You can drill a path through the center of the wooden piece to put such beautiful flowers in it, so you consider it as a gift for someone with these flowers or you can keep it as decorative vase.

Step 12: The Secret Letter

Using the same hole, you can write a secret letter and hide it in this secret part of the wooden piece and then you can cover it with some decorative materails.

Step 13: Decorative Egg

It's aleardy have the shape of a decorative egg.

Step 14: Gift

You can simply give it as a gift.

Step 15: Container (box)

You can close it using a wooden cover.

Step 16: Candle

Make it a candle by fitting it in the upper hole.

Step 17: Lighter

Add this classic lighter to the upper hole.

Step 18: Key Holder

Attach a rope to the wooden cover and connect it to the key.

Step 19: Ring Box

You can put a ring inside it and present it as a gift.

Step 20: Flash Light

Add a lid to the upper hole using hot glue.

Step 21: Pineapple

Add artificial leaves to the upper hole to make an wooden pineapple.

Step 22: Cigarettes Ash Container

Add an aluminum cover to the upper hole and make it as cigarettes ash container

Step 23: The Master Stick

You can add a stick through the upper hole.
