Introduction: The PVC Z Curve Bow

Hello this is my first Instructable so please be kind I first got the idea a to do this project when my old z curve by zing broke and I was left with all the arrows but never found the time but now it is done and here are the instructions for how you can build your own

Step 1: What You Will Need

drill

elastic of some sort (I used a resistance band)

5 feet of half inch or three quarter inch PVC

7 90° pvc slip connectors 3/4 or 1/2 to match your PVC

2 45° pvc slip connectors

2 pic end caps

1 pvc tee

Hack saw or PVC cutters

zip ties

paracord

duck tape

door stop thing (what you are after are the rubber pieces)

lighter

some sort of wheels that the rubber can run in

2 eyelets

2 screws that the wheels can run on

Heat shrink (optional)

Step 2: Cut Your PVC

you will need to cut 7 1 1/2 inch pieces

3 4 inch pieces

and two 1 and 1/4 -1 1/2 foot pieces

Step 3: assemble the Handle According to the Images

Step 4: Now Customize It Before Adding the String and Machinery It Will Make Life Easy

take the arms of the bow the foot and a half pieces and spray paint them a different color it gives the bow a really cool two toned affect

Step 5: Drill

next drill two holes on the end caps large enough for the elastic to go through

drill another two holes on the 45s for the wheels shown in the image and

another two holes for the eyelets on the 90s also shown i the image

Step 6: Attach Paracord to the Rubber

you are going to want to to burn the tip of the paracord until it becomes a hard ball and let this cool when it is dried shove it up the inside of the rubber tube and tie a zip tie just under the ball sorry if this is confusing I am working on a video that i will post at a later date comment if you have any questions
