Step 1: Gather Your Materials
You will need:
- 2 large overripe bananas
- 1 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
Step 2: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 180 C (or 350 F).
Step 3: Cream, Cream, Cream
Cream together butter and sugar.
I used brown sugar but white sugar will work just fine.
Step 4: Egg & Bananas
Beat the eggs and crush the bananas!
Let all your stress out :)
Tip: Use a fork to crush the bananas! It's so much easier.
Step 5: Mix, Mix, Mix
Combine all the wet ingredients as well as vanilla.
Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Mix just until all the ingredients are combined but do not overmix!
Step 6: Into the Oven
Grease and flour the pan and pour in the mixture.
Bake at 180 C (350 F) for 50-55 minutes.
(Varies depending on the oven; check every 5 minutes from 40 minutes past.)
Step 7: Ta-da!
Voila! It's finished. And the kitchen smells amazing.
Let it cool and cut them into little pieces.
