The Perfect Paper Wallet

This is my project how you can make a perfect paper wallet put of 2 paper sheets. In less than 5 minutes.

Step 1: Materials

You just need a few materials for this project.

You need a

• scissor
• ruler
• rubber
• glue stick
• Xato knife
• pencil
• 2 paper sheets of your choice

For my wallet i used construction paper.

You can use any paper so just choose one you would walk around with every day.

Step 2: Transfer the Pattern and Cut It

In the first step you just have to transfer the pattern on the 2 paper sheets and cut them out.

Step 3: The Folding

Now you need to fold the sheets. Fold them horizontal and vertical. Also fold the the triangles.

Therefore i reccomend to fold these againt a table corner, this will make it mutch better for the result.

Step 4: The Holes

It is time to cut the holes for the cards.

For this you place the ruler in the middle of the sheet with the triangles.

Position the ruler that it is on 10,5 cm on the outline. Now you make a line from 2cm - 6.5cm and repeat it on the other side.

Out of these two lines you can make holes or a form you will like, like a polygon or something else.

Now cut them out.

Step 5: Glue It Together

We arrived the last stept. Glue the parts together.

For this you take the sheet wholes and the other part.

You glue a line between the holes, as you can see in picture 2 and 3.

Place the other paper on it and press it together.

Now glue the part with the triangles carefully and press it together.

Here we are. The finished product. Just place it between some books as a good weight for pressure.

Step 6: Version 2: Without Triangles

I´ve made another version, because some of my friends mentioned that they do not like to see the triangles.

This is the version, the only change is, that the triangles are on the side of the holes, as you can see in the pattern.

Step 7: Personalize

Finish!

Now go for it and personalize your own walet. Use stamps, stitch something on it or draw it in your favor!

And for a long lasting life, you can cover it with a transparent foil.
