The Ultimate Hot Chocolate Recipe

About: I like crafting and making stuff

Winter is one of the most festive seasons of the year, but it's extremely cold. If the cold ruins your winter, then you might want to give this recipe a try. Hot chocolate is not only delicious, but it's also a warm drink, so I think that it's fair to say that hot chocolate can save winter. Introducing, "The Ultimate Hot Chocolate Recipe"

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients for this recipe include,

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • Pinch of salt

  • Whip cream
  • 1 peppermint bark square

Step 2: Making the Milk Base

This step is very simple. To create the base, all you need to do is bring the milk to a boil, and stir the sugar in.

Step 3: Adding the Chocolate Ingredients

For this next and final step, all you need to do is bring the milk back to a boil, stir in cocoa powder, your chocolate bar, and pinch of salt. Finally, transfer the hot chocolate into a mug.

Step 4: Finishing Touches (OPTIONAL)

Honestly, you can add anything to hot chocolate, but whip cream and peppermint bark squares, in my opinion, go the best. Now that you are done with your hot chocolate, you can sit down and relax knowing that you have just made the ultimate hot chocolate.

I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed it, and I appreciate all the positive feed back.

Yes, there are all different types of ways to add peppermint to a hot chocolate, but I prefer peppermint bark because when it melts, you get a little bit extra chocolate.

Those would also be very nice in a warm hot chocolate. The only problem with those ingredients is that if you add to much, it can ruin your hot chocolate.

I never make hot chocolate with chocolate bars or bricks and I really should try it. Thank you for sharing! :)
