This is the best strawberry buttercream because it contains real strawberries and it tastes just like ice cream. It goes very well with chocolate cake. But I am looking foreward to seeing other uses for it.

Step 1: Ingredients
- 250g frozen strawberries
- 50g icing sugar
- 100ml milk
- 1 tbls starch
- 125g butter
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 tbls lime juice (optional, not pictured)
Step 2: What to Do
First thaw the berries in a pot, add vanilla sugar and lime juice and reduce by boiling for 10min.
Then take from heat, add sifted icing sugar and starch and stir.
Next add milk, stir and boil for another 5 min.
Then take the pot from the heat and let it cool.
Finally purree, add butter and beat in.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer until needed. Before spreading it on the cake simply beat once more.
