Introduction: The Easy Way to Make Chalk Paint

For the past couple of days I have been experimenting with easier ways to make chalk paint. I have already tried the Calcium Carbonate and Plaster of Paris alternatives, but both work out expensive and the ingredients are not easy to find.

The easiest and most affordable way to make your own chalk paint is to use INTERIOR CRACK FILLER, water and acrylic or latex paint.

  1. Combine 1 cup of interior crack filler with 1 cup of water and mix to a very smooth paste. If you feel the mixture is too thick you can add a dash more water.
  2. Slowly pour this into your paint and mix well, making sure there are no lumps.
  3. Apply as you would normal chalk paint and, as with all chalk paints, finish off by applying antique wax and buffing.
