Step 1: Prepare

This is incredibly simple: slice up he dog into bite sized pieces, half the spaghetti (I used cappellini because it is very thin) and then stick it through the pieces. Be careful! They can easily snap, so take your time.

Step 2: Cook

Boil your speared dogs for about 6 minutes and drain.

Step 3: Finish

Plate it and add whatever sauces you'd like!

Step 4: The Octopus

If you don't push the spaghetti all the way through or break off the tops, you can make a spaghetti octopus/monster! Add black pepper pieces for the eyes and tada!

We made this for our teen kids last night and was a huge hit. We used a whole package of hotdogs and a bunch of spaghetti in a great big pot. Thought I would have leftovers but did not :)

So cool. I just made an instructable showing how to make geometric shapes with these. https://www.instructables.com/id/Spaghetti-and-Wieners-meet-Geometry/
