Throat Tea

Basically you soak lemon and ginger pieces in honey and let them sit over night and what you will have is a money you can add to hot water or tea to soothe a cough, sore throat, or other throat related ill.

Step 1: Cut the Lemons Into Quarters

Cut the lemons into quarters or smaller.

Step 2: Cut the Gunger

Cut the ginger into similar sizes to the lemons.

Step 3: Place Lemons and Ginger in a Mason Jar

Mix the ginger and the lemon pieces in the mason jar.

Step 4: Fill the Mason Jar With Honey

Fill the jar with honey. Covering the lemons and ginger completely.

Step 5: Screw the Lid Securly

Put the lid on the mason jar securely.

Step 6: Let Sit for at Least 24 Hours

Let's the mason jar sit for 24 hours. I put it in the fridge.

Step 7: Add to Hot Water or Tea

Add the honey to hot water or tea to soothe sore throat, cough, or other throat related ills.

    I really do not know if it sooths my throat but I made it and it is deliscious. Thanks for the recipe. A great winter beverage.
