Step 1:

Ingredients :-
1lb flour
2 tsp yeast
2oz warm milk
2oz water
2oz butter
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg beaten

Method -
mix yeast 2 tbs of sugar and 2 tbs of warm milk...keep to ferment...meanwhile
Sieve flour into a bowl add beaten egg , butter, salt and mix well
Check if the yeast has fermented...if yes add this to the flour mixture and gradually add the water and now cooled milk. knead to a soft dough
Place in greased bowl and turn the dough over so it's coated totally with grease and cover the bowl with a damp cloth

Step 2: The Filling

I chose filling with it's natural color except for the fish.
Boil Carrot and beetroot with salt and pepper and  cream each separately with a butter.
For the fish..cook with salt and pepper and add green coloring and cream with butter.

Step 3: Making Your Light!

Now roll the dough flat
fold over the edges to make a wall
then roll 2 long strips and place in the center to gap up the dough
place your filling according to the colors of the traffic. cover with another layer of dough
keep for a while and then bake

I made pillows too
cut the filling on one square and cover with another square...repeat till you have put all 3 fillings
press down the sides with a fork
now bake.

Step 4: What You Should Not Do!

What you should not do is leave the oven unattended! my traffic lights came okay...but after i put my second dish pillows...i had to run for a 2 year old's potty training emergency! Hence the ruined pillow! sorry folks!
