Intro: Triple Protein Burger Meal With Dessert
You can't go wrong with my triple protein burger with honey roasted carrots and paleo ice cream!
Step 1: Ingredients for Meal
1. Ground Beef
2. Slices of bacon
3. One Egg
4. Sea Salt
6. Paprika (optional)
Side Dish Ingredients:
3. Olive Oil
2. Agave Nectar
3. Almond Milk
4. Strawberries (optional)
Step 2: Dessert Prep First
Take your banana and pit it into a ziplock baggie. I smash mine down so it will break up better for the blender later. I added the strawberries just for my person liking but they're not required. You can add just about anything to this recipe. You can add peanut butter, chocolate, any berries, any fruit you want. Put the fruit in the freezer for about 2-3 hours.
Step 3: Your Proteins
Next it's time for the main course. Take your ground beef and form it into a patty. Next, season it well with salt and pepper. Sit you bacon and eggs aside for a few minutes.
Step 4: The Side Dish
I used baby carrots for this and used a couple hands full of them. I took all of them and cut them long ways.
Take the carrots and place them into a mixing bowl. Cover with about 2 tbsp. of Olive Oil and 2 tbsp. of honey. Sprinkle a touch of salt and pepper on the carrots and toss them all together to mix evenly.
Step 5: Baking Time
Place foil in two separate sections on a sheet tray as shown. Lay your carrots and bacon on the foil and place the sheet trey in the oven at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes. (Depending on the thickness of the carrots and bacon)
Step 6: Cooking the Burger
Cook your burger in a skillet at medium heat until you have cooked it to your desired doneness. Take the burger off the pan and sit it on your plate.
Step 7: Cooking Your Egg
Clean the pan that was used for the burger, leaving just a thin layer of grease in the pan. Break your egg and season it with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook it to your desired doneness.
Step 8: Finish Baking
Around the time your egg is finished the carrots and bacon should be ready to come out of the oven. Take the bacon and sit it on a paper towel and let the grease soak into the paper towel. Place the carrots on your plate.
Step 9: Chow Down!
Stack you beef with bacon and an egg and start munching!
Step 10: Don't Forget Dessert!
After you are finished eating, remove you banana/fruit from the freezer. Break up the contents in the bag and place it into the blender. Pour about 2 tbsp. of Agave Nectar into the blender and add some almond milk to the desired thickness.
Step 11: Enjoy!
Devour the awesome airy creamy dessert!
