This is my personal Tuna Salad Sandwich recipe that I enjoy quite often. Ingredients and the amount of them can be varied depending on your personal liking of them.
Step 1: Ingredients
- Bread of choice
- 2 Cans of tuna, drained
- Handful of Iceberg Lettuce
- ½ of a Onion
- ¼ of a Cucumber
- 2 Celery sticks
- 2 tbsp fresh chives and/or Green Onion
- ¾ cup of Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup of Ketchup
- Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Step 2: Mayonnaise Mixture
Put ¾ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of ketchup and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl and mix.
Step 3: Chop
- finely chop iceberg lettuce (handful)
finely minced onion (½ of an Onion)
chop cucumber into slices then cubes (¼ of cucumber)
- chop celery into slices (two celery sticks)
- chop chives (2 tbsp)
Step 4: Final Mixture
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly, Then spread on bread (toast if wanted).
This recipe makes 5 sandwiches.
