Hi guys, I'm going to make tutorial about MC-18 Magnetic Switch Sensor Alarm that operates in normally close mode.
But first, let me explain to you in short what is mean by normally close. There are two types of mode, normally open and normally close. Basically the easiest way to understand the concept are normally open is "push to make" and normally close is "push to break".
Without waste any time, Let's Start!
Step 1: Gather Your Things Up!
Basically, all you need for this project is:
- MC-18 magnetic switch alarm sensor
- Arduino UNO
- Jumper wires
All of list above available at mybotic. So, you can get it at our store.
Step 2: Set Up Your Arduino UNO
You need to fill in your Arduino with "knowledge" because machine does not know anything. Upload the source code that provide in order for this project to work.
When you open the door, the buzzer will sound. This door alarm need to use normally open method to make sure it work as it should. Arduino will help to change from normally close to normally open. We designed the source code to make sure it works in normally close type.
Step 3: Build Your Project!
