This cool tutorial turns old house hold items into a cool USB chip! Have fun confusing your friends! You can put whatever you want on it.

Step 1: Materials

You will need An old phone case, aUSB chip, File, Cardboard or man made wood, Pens, sharpies, markers, some Tape, Hot glue gun, and a knife.

Step 2: Make the Screen

Trace a real iPhone onto some card stock or piaster board or index cards. Then draw a home screen, or lock screen, or off.

Step 3: Tape!

Tape the screen you just make with acrylic tape (shinny tape) then trim the excess tape off the sides

Step 4: Preparing the Case

I'm using a speck candy shell. File the bottom of the volume on/off switch.

Step 5: Get the Cardboard Ready

Take the fake screen and trace it on the cardboard three times then cut them out. Fill in one of the corners black. Now trace the USB chip (take the case off with a screwdriver) onto one of the cardboard rectangles (before hand, mark where the switch spot is). Now cut the top layer ONLY of the cardboard and use your fingers and push the rectangle down like the picture. Next, put the cardboard in the case and slide the chip in making sure it fits.

Step 6: Glue

Making sure the connector is jutting out far enough, glue it in place. Make sure the chip doesn't slide around inside. Now glue the other cardboard pieces on top. Finally glue the top screen in place.

Step 7: Done!

Now you can put music or data or whatever you want on it
