This is one of the desserts that I really LOVE to make for Easter (and any other time I get the craving) The cake is SUPER moist with the mandarin oranges added! Step 1: Make a Yellow Cake Batter
Once you got the cake batter made, add one 11 ounce can of Mandarin Oranges drained to the mix. Continue mixing until the oranges are broken up.
Step 2: Follow Cake Instructions to Bake
I used 2 9" round pans
Step 3: ICING TIME!
Add the following to a mixing bowl
1 - 20 ounce can of crushed pineapples with no sugar added (Drained)
1 - 3.4 ounce instant Vanilla Pudding mix
Mix together thoroughly and let sit for 10 minutes
Finally Fold in 8 - 8.5 ounces of whipped cream (FOLD not STIR or the icing will be flat and not airy
Step 4: Frost the Cake
Apply the frosting both layers of the cake as seen in the video! ENJOY
