The lower section of the mirror cover is damaged or lost.
As with all vehicles it is common for the wing mirrors to be knocked or hit often damaging the plastic covers. Unfortunately, with the Astra MK5 vehicles the lower section of the wing mirror is not available separately from Vauxhall or Opel. Until now it has only been possible to buy a complete mirror assembly at vast expense.
