my family is pure vegetarian and they don't eat eggs.
and omlet = eggs.
here is a veg omlet recipe for my veg friends. it tastes different than actual omlet (due to lack of eggs)
but it tastes really amazing
for making this we need
-1 finely chopped onion
-1 finely chopped tomato
-1 chilli or 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional, you may skip this)
-2 tbsp of finely chopped coriander
-8 tbsp full of gram flour (besan)
-salt to taste
-300-400 ml of water (to make paste)
-1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
-oil (for brushing pan)
take finely chopped onion, tomato and coriander into a bowl
add 8 tbsp full of gram powder into the bowl
add water and mix it well
add chilli or chilli powder (you can skip this)
add turmeric powder
now brush oil on the pan
put the pan on the stove
when pan becomes little hot spread the mixture on the pan
cover pan with lid ( i have used a steel plate, but if you have pan lid / cover use that only)
after 2- 5 mins remove lid
you can smell it and can see the color change
then flip it
let the other side cook
veg omlet is ready.
it tastes great with ketchup.
