Veg Sandwich

Hi everyone, I wanna share a recipe that my father used to prepare for me during my childhood days specially when my mum used to visit my grandma's house. He would prepare n serve it at a time when I would feel hungry but didn't want to take a full meal. It was a mouth watering dish for me and easy to prepare for him. Today I use that very recipe for my kids and they like it too as I did during my time.

Step 1: Ingredients at One Platform

# 2 small size Potato.
# 2 small size Tomato.
# 1 medium size Onion.
# 4 whole wheat Bread slices.
# Butter.
# Olive oil.
# Salt.
# Tomato sauce.
# Nonstick pan.
# Chopping board.
# Knife.

Step 2: Chopping All Veggies Into Slices

# Peel the potatoes and onion then wash them .
# Pick the knife and cut the tomato, potato and onion into thin slices on the chopping board.

Step 3: Prepare the Potato Crisps

# Put the nonstick flat pan on the stove at medium heat. Once the pan gets sufficiently hot, lower the heat.
# Pour one tablespoon olive oil on the pan and spread it.
# Take all potato slices one by one and put in the pan for shallow fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
# Flip them over one by one and fry again for 5 to 7 minutes or until they start to appear crispy.
# Sprinkle some salt and take them out in a plate.

Step 4: Crisp the Bread Slice

# Slather some butter on the bread slices evenly
# Lay all the bread slices in the pan for toasting for 1-2 minutes on medium heat
# Flip over and toast them on the other side for 1-2 minutes
# Dont forget to turn off the stove

Step 5: Make the Sandwich

# Place all the bread slices on the chopping board and identify any two of them for veggie dressing
# Place two to three slices of Tomato on each of the two bread slices
# Put four to six slices of Potato crisps on the top of Tomato slices
# Put two slices of Onion on the top of Potato slices.
# Optionally put one more layer Tomato slices on the top of Onion layer.
# Sprinkle some salt on top of it as taste maker
# Cover the dressed bread with remaining bread and press gently to make a sandwich.
# Optionally cut the breads diagonally for better presentation and ease of consumption.
# serve the cut sandwich pieces in a place with Tomato sauce
# Relish the taste
