Wow. Just Wow. Look at the colour! This drink was absolutely incredible! I originally wanted ice cream with banana and spiralina, but it turned into this dream - The Vegan Protein Spirulina Shake.
So easy to make, with just FOUR ingredients! How easy is that? I've been craving this everyday for breakfast (or an afternoon snack) since we made it.
Spirulina (along with any green healthy powder, really) can taste really overpowering! It's definitely an acquired taste! In this recipe you can hardly taste it all, as we just put about a teaspoon in. It gives it a great colour, and at the same time, your getting in a nice dose of goodness! If you love Spirulina, feel free to up the dosage!
We use frozen bananas in this and it gives it a lovely, creamy flavour, as well as makes it nice and cold. If you don't have frozen bananas, use fresh ones but perhaps add a cup full of ice to get it nice and cold.

Step 1: What You Will Need
2 frozen bananas
2 Tbsp vanilla protein powder
1 tsp spirulina
2 1/2 cups rice milk
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth. Drink away!
