I like to prepare simple, everyday meals, and I want to show you that living vegan can be easy and cheap - you can veganize everything you like! Just replace animal products with cruelty-free alternatives. You also don't have to be a professional in the kitchen, just experiment and have fun! And don't hurt any animals in the making.
Step 1: Recipe: Vegan Fried Cauliflower and Soy With Mashed Pumpkins
Fried cauliflower, soy medallions and mashed pumpkin
Cauliflower and soy medallions fried without eggs, with added sesame and flax seeds & mashed pumpkins!
Ingredients: pumpkin, cauliflower, soy medallions, spices (salt, pepper, red mild paprika)
Ingredients for frying: water, flour, breadcrumbs, sesame and flax seeds, spices (kurkuma).
Cook the soy medallions in salted water for 5-10 minutes, after that, drain them well and season to taste.
Peel the pumkpin, remove the seeds and cut into smaller pieces. Pour them with hot water, add salt and cook until they soften. Then put them in a blender and make a puree.
Remove the leaf from the cauliflower and chop it into smaller pieces.
For the frying, make a mixture of water, flour and turmeric, and in a separate bowl prepare a mixture of breadcrumbs, sesame and flaw seeds and spices.
Put the cooked and seasoned soy medallions in the frying mixture and then in the mixture of breadcrumbs, sesame and flax seeds.
Do the same with the pieces of cauliflower.
And it's ready for frying!
Fry in deep (preheated) sunflower oil until it gets a nice golden crust.
Serve with lemon and fresh lettuce and/or tomatoes.
