Very Simple Rubber Band Machine Gun

You will need:

- a Jumbo Popsicle stick

- a small file

- some Loom Bands

Today I will show you how to make a Very Simple Rubber Band Machine Gun with a Jumbo Popsicle Stick and a small file. You will also need some Loom Bands or very small rubber bands.

First make 2 grooves at the end of the stick. This will be the front of the gun. Then make 10 additional grooves on each side of the stick, starting 3 inches from the front. The front side of each groove must be flat.

Next take a Loom Band and stretch it from the front groove to the first side groove and slide it in place. Repeat on the second groove and so on until all of the side grooves hold loom bands.

When the 20 bands have been loaded, hold the stick at the rear with one hand. And using your thumb on your free hand, carefully push off each band one-by-one. The faster you push each band, the faster it can fire.

If done correctly, the bands can shoot across the room. You can also use this for a little indoor target practice.
