Introduction: Very Soft Halloween Pumpkin Cake

Finally Halloween is getting closer again and it's also pumpkin season so, why not? Lets make a pumpkin cake for our Halloween party!

This cake is fast and easy to make and it is sooooo soft also the day after!

Step 1: Ingredients

We need:

  • 250 g of Pumpkin pulp
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 0,5 dl of cooking oil
  • 200 g of flour
  • 16 g of baking powder
  • 1 spoon of honey

Step 2: Steaming and Mixing

Steam the pumpkin pulp for about 10 minutes or until it is soft.

In the meanwhile mix the eggs with the sugar until the foam triples the size.

Step 3: More Mixing...

Once the pumpkin is steamed add oil and honey and mash it.

Then add the pumpkin to the egg mixture and mix again.

Add now flour and baking powder and mix more.

Step 4: In the Oven

Prepare the cake form and put a baking paper on the bottom and around the sides. Pour the mixture into form and cook the cake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30-40 minutes. You can try to stick in a toothpick to check if the cake is cooked.

Step 5: Decorating

Now you are ready to decorate your cake as you like! I just spread icing sugar on top then printed a pumpkin face and using that i spread cacao powder to make the face.
