Step 1: Squeeze and Grate. Yeah...that's It!
Oranges have between 50 and 60 mg of Vitamin C per 100 g. And carrots have both Vitamin C and loads of Vitamin A. Both handy vitamins to have when fighting off a cold!
This salad is so easy, it will likely seem TOO easy, but it's really delicious. I've been eating it since I was a child, and now the DH likes it too. (Sans raisins.) Try it and find out for yourself!
Vitamin C Salad
- 2 oranges
- 2 cups grated carrots
Squeeze oranges and grate carrots. Mix together and let chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
