Warm Fuzzy

Intro: Warm Fuzzy

Warm fuzzies are cute, warm, and fuzzy creatures. They have round bodies and flat feet. To visit my warm fuzzy site click here.

Step 1: Gathering Material

What You Will Need:

1. scissor
2. glue (hot glue works best)
3. one pom-pom ball (the fuzzy kind if you can find them)
4. two googley eyes
5. foam paper
6. love

Step 2: How to Make It

Now all you have to do is put it together!!!

1. cut out the foam paper into 2 feet (six toes in all, if you don't have colored foam paper paint it)

2. glue the googley eyes onto the pop-pom ball (glue them close together)

3. glue the feet to the bottom of the pom-pom ball

4. enjoy!!!

Step 3: More Ideas

Warm Fuzzies were popular in the 70's. They used to hold a message between their feet and body such as "I love you!". A really strange one was "Mental health matters to me!" ____ yeah. Why don't you make a message and give it away as a gift? Well enjoy!!!

I remember these! Yes I am old enough to remember when they were everywhere back in high school! Thanks for the memories...we should all pass on a warm fuzzy when we can!

I'm only 18 and I remember my first grade teacher using them as a point system for good deeds. each good deed earned you a stamp size fuzzy picture, and 10 pictures earned you a real fuzzy. Gawd, the good old days, when naps happened 4 times a day, and was always followed by snacks.

Yes, those truly were good old days! Plus, there was a plate of Oreo cookies and a glass of milk waiting when you got home.

There is such a thing as too cute! ;-)

We call these "bugs" in the UK, and they're still used for promotional messages - if we went to a steam fair or country show when the boys were younger, they'd come back covered in bugs from the dealer stalls, and they'd end up all over their bedframes.
