Step 1: Step 1
Take the lables off of the 2-liter bottle and the 5 water bottles.
Step 2: Step 2
Cut the top of the 2-liter bottle off. Be careful so you don't cut yourself.
Step 3: Step 3
Take one of the water bottles and cut it in half. Next cut a small piece out of the side of it (about 2 to 2 1/2 inches long). Next take the top half of the water bottle and put it on the bottom half of the water bottle at and angle so it looks like a bent water bottle. Then glue the two halves together. Be careful not to burn yourself with the glue.
Step 4: Step 4
Take the one water bottle and put a generous amount of hot glue on the bottom of it. Then attach it to the side of the 2-liter bottle.
Step 5: Step 5
Now repeat step 4 for the rest of the water bottles. REMEMBER, allow time for the glue to dry.
Step 6: Step 6
Now apply a generous amount to the bottom of the "head" (the bent water bottle) and put it on the top of the body. You will have to hold the head in place or it will fall off while the glue is drying.
Step 7: Step 7
Remove the bottle caps and set them aside. Spray paint the body and head brown. Spray paint the bottle caps black (hooves and mouth). Once the body and head have dried turun it over and spray the other side.
Step 8: Step 8
Once the paint has dried put the bottle caps back on the ends of the bottles.
Step 9: Step 9
Now take the pipe cleaner or the yarn and cut it into strips for the main and tail. Once you have your strips you can either tape or glue them onto the head and rear section of your horse.
Step 10: Step 10
Now it is time to put the eyes on. Now my first choice was the wiggle eyes but I had to settle with buttons. When you go to put the eyes on do not use hot glue, use regular elmer's glue or you can use super glue. I went ahead and taped mine on. Now you have your very own water bottle horse. Enjoy.
