Introduction: Wearable Creature Bracelet

Build a cool wearable creature bracelet using handcut/lasercut E-Flute corrugated cardboard.

Materials you will need.

1. Some E-Flute Corrugated Cardboard (local art supply store)

2. Xacto knife (or access to a laser cutter)

3. Metal Ruler (for knife cutting edge and creating creases)

Optional. Various paints and markers for decorating.

Step 1: Get Cutting Cardboard.

Handcut Version (for laser cutting version see below)

Print out a copy of the attach pdf template. Place the Template onto your E-Flute cardboard leaving enough room to complete the cut without running out of cardboard. Now firmly use an Xacto knife to cut along the outline make sure to cut through the template and E-Flute for both wearable parts.

Lasercut Version (Ideally)

If you have experience and access to a laser cutter you can use the attached dxf file and easily cut out all the components for the wearable out of cardboard. This is similar to the method I have used in make all of my parts for this project.

Optionally: At this point you may want to decorate or paint, for added effect, the cut out cardboard parts.

Step 2: Creasing the Bracelet.

Using the printed template as a guide, make creases on both parts by placing the ruler perpendicular to the cut parts. Carefully lift and fold half way against the ruler to create the desired crease. Now repeat the entire process until both of the parts look similar to the photo above.

Step 3: Attaching the Head.

Step 4: Assembling the Bracelet Loop
