Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes Product Catalogue

Introduction: Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes Product Catalogue

Hey everyone! Here's a DIY for the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes Product Catalogue! It's made up of 10 readable high resolution pages and a front and back cover. This has been requested a few times - it took me many many hours to piece it together. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Video Tutorial

Watch the video tutorial or follow the written steps with photos.

Step 2: Printing

8.5x11 or A4 Instructions

Print the PDF double sided and scaled to fit the page. Do the same for the Weasley & Weasley ad.

11x17 or A3 Instructions

Print the PDF double sided and scaled to fit the page in landscape orientation. If the printer has a finisher attached, you can also select the folding and saddle stitched option.

Step 3: Stapling

8.5x11 or A4 Instructions

Set aside the template page that is just the spine of the book. Also set aside the Weasley & Weasley ad. We'll get to that later. Next, make sure the pages are in order and staple them together right where the Muggle Magic box meets the printed page. Use paper clamps to make sure the pages stay aligned as you staple them.

11x17 or A3 Instructions

You will want to saddle stitch the pages together, which means you'll stack them up and put two or three staples along where the spine of the book will be.

Stack the templates (make sure they're in the right order - refer to the template files) and use paper clamps to hold them together. Set that aside and place a row of staple refills on your cutting mat. Use a thumb tack to remove two staples from the refill. Now, with your templates face down on the cutting mat, use one of the loose staples to mark where two staples should go along the spine (imagine a vertical line at the center of the template where the left and right pages meet). Use your tack to make holes where the staples would penetrate the template. Now feed the points of the staples through those holes. Flip the template over (make sure the staples don't fall out) and use your ruler to close the staples. And now all you need to do is fold the template and half.

Step 4: Cutting

Use your ruler and X-Acto knife to trim off all the white borders and the gray Muggle Magic box from around your templates.

Additional 8.5x11 or A4 Instructions

Cut out the Weasley & Weasley ad with your ruler and X-Acto knife.

If you're using 8.5x11 or A4 templates, make sure you don't cut the staples off - we need those. Now cut out the template that is just the spine of the book and fold it in half vertically. You can also trim off the parts on the left and right that show part of the cover and back cover images. We just want the green part. Now use a glue stick to glue this on to the spine of your book in order to hide the staples.

You can now just place the Weasley & Weasley ad loosely inside the catalogue.

Step 5: You're Finished!

That's it! You're all done!
