You will need 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 2 pounds of ground beef, another 1/2 cup barbeque sauce, garlic powder, sweet onions, Olive Oil, slices of cheese, buns, and tomatoes.

Step 2: Making the Pattie

Mix your ground beef, 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape into round circles.

Step 3: Making the Onion

Heat your trusty grill to medium-high heat. Lightly coat onion slices with oil, salt, and pepper. Grill onion slices on the heat for 3 minutes on each side. Slather them with barbecue sauce. Then remove them from the grill when they are soft.

Step 4: Grilling the Burgers

Sprinkle the patties with salt and pepper, and place them on the grill for 3 to 5 minutes. Flip and repeat process. Slather them with barbecue sauce. Add cheese just before removing from the grill.

Step 5: Preparing the Meal

Put the tomato slices on the bottom bun. Next put on your burger, onion, and top that with just a little more barbecue sauce.
