Introduction: What a DC Motor Is, the Basics

About: Hello, bonjour, konichiwa, hola, aloha, and howdy. I am a farmer, engineer, first year carpenter, 2nd year geologist, 4th year construction worker, licensed beer brewer, and a huge fan of heavy metal music. ...

Step 1: What It Looks Like

The basic body of a 1.5 DC motor looks like this
You have the two terminals where you solder proper wires onto
And you have the part that spins, letting you know you have properly soldered the connections on

Step 2: What Is Required to Power It?

At least one double A battery and the proper wires soldered onto the terminals
You can go higher with the batteries but be careful
DISCLAIMER I AM NOT LIABLE IF YOI GET INJURED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM

Step 3: Different Motors

Some even have preset colored terminals, black is negative and red is positive
They work the same way but require different voltages of power

Step 4: That's the Basics

Thank you for reading, if you are confused, want to add a suggestion, or just say anything, go ahead and do so in the comments, all words are welcome, even the criticism (:
