Wildfire Candles Decoration (An Instructable of Ice and FIRE){Very Cheap Yet Impressive}

Introduction: Wildfire Candles Decoration (An Instructable of Ice and FIRE){Very Cheap Yet Impressive}

We all remember of the shocking last episode of GoT season 6....

SO, it's time for a Game of Thrones instructable, yey!!

In Westeros:

Wildfire is a flammable liquid which is created and controlled by the Alchemists' Guild, an ancient society of learned men using arcane knowledge and is now based in the city of King's Landing.
Wildfire is a highly volatile material; when ignited, it can explode with tremendous force and the resulting fire burns so hot that water cannot extinguish it. Only by smothering the flames with large quantities of sand can they be put out. Wildfire is identifiable by the distinctive green hue of its flames and a bright green color in its liquid state. Pyromancers refer to it as "the Substance", while in the lowest circles it is derisively referred to as "pyromancer's piss".

Wildfire played a key role at the Battle of the Blackwater during the War of the Five Kings as well as the Destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor.

In Your house, it will make the perfect halloween (prop) decoration.....!

Step 1: What You'll Need

What you'll need to make this prop are common staff that you probably have lying around your place:

1) Green Dishwashing liquid

2) Candles (the dinner type ones and the tealight ones)

3) A charm bottle and glass plates etc

4) Superglue

Step 2: Fill Your Jars

Rinse your glass mini jars and other containers. Then, fill them up with the green dish soap.

Secure their lids using a tiny ammount of superglue.

Step 3: Cut Your Candle

Cut the top of your candle (personally, I used a kitchen knife for that) in any length you want, as long as it doesn't look mismatched with the jar, when their lengths are compared one to the other.

Step 4: Glue the Candle on the Jar

Heat the bottom of the cut piece of candle till it starts to melt. Meanwhile pour a few droplets of superglue into the tiny jar's lid. Then, press the candle on the jar.

Step 5: Carve a Little Bit the Top of the Candle

Your goal is that the top of your candle is flat. Then, lit your candle and let it burn a minute or two.

Step 6: Create the Candle Drips

Heat the scrap piece of candle and pour the melt wax drops into the jar and candle. Create as many candle drips as you want till you have the desired aged and multi-used effect. Let the liquid wax stain the glass of the jar for a more realistic effect.

Step 7: Half Way Done!

Now, your own wildfire jar is finished. You can make as many wildfire containers as you want, using jars and candles with different diametres each time.

Gather your finished containers and candles and we're ready to...

Step 8: Set Up a Scene

Choose an old looking low table with a topping of glass or marble (so that the potential wax stains come out easily) and cover it with a generous ammount of green dishwashing liquid (that serves as the wildfire liquid). Then, arrange your jars and spare tealight candles on this surface (I also used sealed tiny jars filled with green colored water) and drip some green soap on them as well. Light up cour candles and admire your work... (you can always touch up this decoration by adding a few more candles or green soap when needed etc)

Step 9: AaaaaaaLL DONE!

I also realized that this halloween decoration is quite impressive even if you haven't heard of GoT before; it can easily be perceived as witches' craft or ectoplasm (if you change the color of the soap) and still be spookie and great!!!
