Introduction: Willow Costume From Don't Starve for Halloween and Cosplay (Video)
Don't Starve is a rougelike fantasy/survival game which challenges the player to survive for as long as possible. Willow is a playable characters who is a little girl suffering from pyromania (this both helps and hinders her).

Step 1: Questions You Might Have
Can I put the contacts in later?
You probably shouldn't. Putting them in first means you avoid getting makeup on them and avoid giving yourself an eye infection.
Why did you use a beauty blender?
Beauty Blenders are great for applying thin layers of liquid/cream makeup. I wanted the character to look like she had white skin instead of wearing thick white makeup. You could also use a flat, synthetic foundation brush, but I found that the face paint looked streaky.
Can I use something other than hair extension clips for the garland?
Definitely. But I LOVE the hair extension clips. They are super sturdy and the garland doesn't slip at all. I got them at Sally Beauty.
Do I have to contour?
No, but I do think it adds a little something-something. You're going to lose pretty much all your facial features with the white face paint, and adding fake shadows helps you reestablish your face.
Do I have to fill in the lips?
I find it's way more comfortable. Otherwise my lips feel dry and the paint feels tight.
Is the video sped up?
A little bit. You'd be here for an hour otherwise.
Why didn't you show the painting process for the garland?
The camera stopped recording! Sorry!
