Hello everyone!

In this instructable I will show you guys how you can make a wooden toy camera!

It's very simple and fun to do!

You can watch the video over here:

Step 1: Step 1: Making Your Stock for the Body

For the body you'll need:

- Beech wood:

1x: Thickness 3.6cm - Width 1.6cm

1x: Thickness 3.6 cm - Width 1.3cm

- Pine wood:

1x: Thickness 3.6cm - Width 4cm

If you use a longer piece of wood, you can make more cameras from the same lumber.

Step 2: Step 2: Glue Up!

Glue your lumber together and put some clamps on it.

Your cameras will be 13cm long.

Step 3: Step 3: Finishing the Body

Round over all the edges of the camera on the router. Don't do it like me, and use a routertable.

Drill a horizontal peekhole in the body.

And sand it all smooth!

Step 4: Step 4: Making the Lens and the Push Button

Drill a 2cm thick lens. Use 2 different diameter holesaws to create the effect of a lense. First drill the small one, and then the larger one. Glue them onto the body of the camera. For a better effect of the lens you can sand down the outer ring a little bit.

For the button you'll need a piece of wood like this:

Length: 1.7cm - Width: 1.4cm - Thickness 0.8cm

After sanding it glue it onto the body and you are ready to take pictures! :)
