Workshop Storage Tip

Intro: Workshop Storage Tip

Here is a very simple, but effective way of storing all of your screws, nut, bolts, drill bits, or whatever you want.  This not only allows you to store easily, but its easy to grab your stuff, throw it in a tool bag and go.

This gives me some ideas. I'm going for a Tony Stark-esque sort of lab, very sci-fi, and I'm thinking that with a little paint or maybe even using a transparent tube instead of the PVC, you could easily incorporate them into a sort of nuclear reactor-looking thing. Maybe something like Mutagen canisters from TMNT?

I like it - I've got so many partial, flimsy boxes of hardware cluttering up my shelves and work bench, this is a great solution.

Nice idea. I just use all the left-over Crystal Lite/Sugar Free Kool-Aid containters and pill/vitamin bottles. Lots of those have the advantage of being transparent.
