Cord Tree-seat

About: i make, mend and modify things from rubbish, whether found or donated, whilst travelling around these islands off the coast of europe

one day in the woods, we had some cord that was 11 meters long, it previously had many paper flags attached but these came off while soaking in water. we played with some trees, and this seat was the result....

    Please do not do this to your tree. I'm an arborist and I work in tree health care- this will strangle the vascular tissue in your tree. Do an image search for strangled tree. This is fairly common abiotic damage with people trying to strap their trees without the proper knowledge.

    thanks l8nite, we tested it with our combined weight, 2 times 60kg, which is almost 270lbs.... the cord when plucked sung with the tension, but supported us fine, so i feel you'd be alright on it.
