I thought I did an "ible" on it but I guess not, there is a pic of it in step one of last years Haunted House "ible"  basically I laid down hot glue to get the raised portions and covered it with a damp piece of brown craft paper, a damp towel (folded 4times) covered with a couple of heavy metal plates made a pliable press. The next day the paper had mostly molded to the shapes so I removed it, applied white glue and put the damp towel/press back on. The title was printed out then painted with black and gold acrylics before a coat of semigloss clear was applied

erm if you have uploaded the book of souls could you send me a link, i'm curious to see it and you have uploaded an awful lot of stuff to scan through,

    Hallo, craftsmith!
I saw this 'ible of yours and the other one you made (the grimoire one)..
I love the leather work you did, and though the staining and scenting is a neat idea.

I though I would also mention another user who makes BoS's out of hand carved wood (MDF usually)... His user name is aespie-whitburn...
Anyways, just l thought I would share some possible inspiration!
