step 1: start at the back and trim towards the top. but when cutting the bottom portion of hair use no guard.

step 2: now move on to the sides still using no guard.

step 3: now after getting most of the hair cut start to shape the bottom.

Step 3: High and Tight Hair Cut

step 4: after shaping the bottom cut the top portion to length. to cut the top to length by using a 1/8 inch guard.

Step 4: High and Tight Hair Cut

step 5: after trimming the top to length RINSE, LATHER AND REPEAT.

    That is a terrible cut and definitely NOT a high and tight. High refers to the fact of it being longer in the middle. Tight you got right. And the trick to a good high and tight is fading it between the tight and the high parts. This haircut is something I would demand money back for and hide under a hat for months.
