How to Make a Scrap Metal Necklace or Key Chain

this is my first ible so please give constructive criticism. I do not take responsibility for slit throats or cuts or anyone getting hurt in any way.
do you like the look of black smithed metal? well do i have a necklace or key chain for you!!!

software
1 peace of scrap metal
1 bead
1 string

hardware
1 hammer
1 anvil or aso (anvil shaped object) or hard peace of flat metal (I use a peace of small gauge railroad track about 12" long)
1 pair of safety glasses
1 ear protection
1 pair of gloves
1 drill
1 drill bit
1 bench grinder or file

Step 1: Step 1

you need to take the metal and hit it till it is bigger than it was but be careful if you get it to thin peaces will start to fly of when you hit it. do not try to get it all pretty and stuff. the dents make it one of a kind.

Step 2: Step 2

now that you have a peace of metal you need to drill a hole in it.

Step 3: Step 3

now you need to grind/file the edges and the place around the hole and make sure to grind/file all the sharp points off.

Step 4: Step 4

OK you are all most done. all you need to do is add the string. you stick the string threw the hole and tie the bead on the end and tie a loop on the other end. but do not make the loop to big or to small you need to be able to get the bead to fit but not fall out.
